The Light of Ranchos de Taos

The Light of Ranchos de Taos was painted en plein air on site at San Francisco de Asis Church, in the historic district Ranchos de Taos. Upon early arrival, I was fortunate enough to catch the morning light shadows that illuminated the sacristy wall but kept the courtyard light in shadow.
